You guys are doing a great job but why is the content shrinking day by day? First the pages were reduced and now advertisements have taken over the magazine. So we do know that the more popular a magazine, the more advertisements they get, but don’t deprive us of the reading material for which we wait for the whole week. Add more pages for the ads that you have to carry and leave the reading material alone… please!

Money wise
The cover story on March 6 was a very good one because it made us realise the value of money and how we must think before demanding anything from our parents.
With everything so expensive these days, we must be conscious of how much money our parents spend on us. They meet all our demands and fulfil all our luxuries without a second thought because they love us. But we should also show our love by trying to make sure that we do not demand that they buy us anything new that comes in the shops or that we see our friends having.
Moreover, whatever they save today will be for our own future. If we can’t earn money like children do in the West by doing odd jobs, we can at least save our parents’ money by cutting down their expenditure on us.

Boredom
Young World is doing a great job! I really appreciate the cover story Bored? Not anymore! by Murtaza Jafri (YW, February 27, 2010). It is true that by continuously watching TV and playing computer games we get exhausted so it is necessary to find some unique and interesting activities that we can adopt during our spare time.

Notions on tuition
The article Notions on tuition by N. Ahmed (YW, February 27, 2010) was hilarious and I immensely enjoyed reading it.
What the writer said about parents suppressing their children at home to make things comfortable for themselves was absolutely correct. Parents should not have extraordinary expectations from children — being overly competitive and pressurising children to get extraordinary grades can have a negative impact on them. Children can become frustrated and stubborn too.
