Since its inception a year ago, DawnNews has been actively involved in creating awareness about issues concerning the country ranging from literacy and poverty to the environment and social injustice.

On April 22, 2008 which is observed as Earth Day the world over, DawnNews launched DawnNews Earth -- a campaign aimed to create awareness among the masses about conserving our environment and adopting ways to preserve our limited and fast-depleting resources.

We aim to take this initiative beyond the TV screen and actively engage in environmentally-conscious activities on the ground.
